Bus & Coach - Driver Authority

Prior to commencing employment as a public passenger bus driver in NSW, an individual must complete an approved training course and apply to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) for a Driver Authority.

Our Driver Authority course (which was developed in partnership with the NSW Bus & Coach Association) was approved by the MoT in September of 2005 and we have approved trainers to deliver this course across NSW. Click here to find a trainer in your local area.

Alternatively, if you are interested in becoming an ITA approved trainer for the Driver Authority course in NSW please contact our office on 1300 739 881. Courses are being run 4 times per year and are held at the Bus & Coach Association (NSW) training rooms in North Parramatta.
