Into Training Australia (ITA) currently offers a customised ‘Drivers Handbook” that meets the requirements of the Employers Policies and Procedures. This supports a consistent induction and training process and addresses many compliance requirements.

We are also currently working on an Operator accreditation system which will comply with the NSW standards, which are currently the highest in Australia . These standards focus on public transport safety and cover:

  • Driver ‘Fitness for Duty” monitoring
  • Establishing a Safety Management System (SMS) covering health, fatigue, incident and security management. Sub-sets of the system include Risk management planning and the development of a Drug & Alcohol program.
  • Establishing a Vehicle Maintenance Management System (VMMS)

The application of systems and processes can provide a quality assurance framework to minimise Occupational Health and Safety Risk.
