All business sectors are finding it difficult to recruit suitably qualified and skilled people in a tight labour market. At the request of some of our clients in Sydney , who were finding it very difficult to recruit drivers, ITA has developed a recruitment/training regime designed to attract new entrants to the industry.

This involves advertising in local media for potential candidates to attend a career change seminar where the benefits and implications of working in the industry are clearly laid out. This process, which does not require the candidate to have a Heavy Vehicle license, but rather looks at personal qualities, provides a larger selection pool from which we screen applicants and provide a shortlist to the employer.

Successful applicants then enter into a training program where they are required to make a commitment to work for the employer for a period of time in return for gaining their Medium Rigid License in a bus.
