Course Overview

To develop and assess the knowledge and skills required to recognise and ensure the requirements of a safe work environment in relation to waste management operations near Overhead Power Lines. This course aligns with the Electricity Act 1996, Electricity (General) Regulations 1999 and the Joint Safety Guideline ‘Working Safely Near Overhead Powerlines'

Who should attend?

This course is for any drivers/operators/supervisors who may be required to work or operate vehicles and equipment near over head power lines

The duration of this course under normal conditions is 4 hours.
