Waste management and environment protection is a growth industry with increasing career opportunities. This qualification is designed for waste driving job roles within the transport and logistics industry. Trainees undertaking this nationally recognised qualification will gain a variety of skills in operational waste management activities.
This is a qualification for those engaged in waste driving roles within the transport and logistics sector. Waste drivers will operate heavy diesel front, side or and/or rear loading refuse collection trucks equipped to service a wide range of domestic and commercial container sizes. Other duties include emptying, storing trucks and equipment safely, maintaining pick-up records, performing truck cleaning, reporting repair requirements, identifying malfunctions and following a scheduled route.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Nationally recognised qualification: TLI33418 - Certificate III in Waste Driving Operations.

- 1 licensing or industry elective unit
- 6 general elective units
