Apply Chain of Responsibility Legislation, Regulations and Workplace Procedures [TLIF0001]

Chain of Responsibility - Level 1
This Nationally recognised course provides participants with an understanding of the principal obligations in Chain of Responsibility in the HVNL and regulations or applicable State/Territory law and regulations.

This Nationally recognised course is designed for Drivers, Clerks, Storepersons, Logistics and Forklift Operators. The Heavy Vehicle National Law aims to improve safety by encouraging a proactive and outcomes-focused approach to managing the risks associated with transport activities regarding:
  • Speed
  • Fatigue
  • Mass, Dimension and Loading
  • Vehicle Standards
The aim of the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) is to ensure that all who bear responsibility for conduct which affects compliance should be made accountable for failure to discharge that responsibility. All parties in the transport chain, not just the driver and operator, can be made accountable for these offences.
The primary WHS law also requires a duty of care to provide any information, training, instruction or supervision that is necessary to protect all people from risks to their health and safety arising from work carried out.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the Unit: TLIF0001 Apply chain of responsibility legislation, regulations & workplace procedures
