This non-accredited theory only course, will provide participants with an understanding of the principles for restraining loads, how to calculate loads, how much restraint is required and the safety considerations you need to take into account. This course will not qualify participants to restrain loads, transport them or calculate the requirements.
Introduction:
This course involves the knowledge required to understand the principles of load restraint when loading/unloading goods and cargo in accordance with relevant State/Territory laws. The main purpose of the mass, dimension and loading requirements in the Heavy Vehicle National Law (NHVL) is to decrease risks from excessively loaded or excessively large heavy vehicles.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Participation.
