Chain of Responsibility Awareness [ITA Course -Non Accredited]

5036
This is a non-accredited theory session for Chain of Responsibility.

Introduction:

This awareness course is designed for Drivers, Clerks, Storepersons, Logistics and Forklift Operators. The Heavy Vehicle National Law aims to improve safety by encouraging a proactive and outcomes-focused approach to managing the risks associated with transport activities.

The aim of the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) is to ensure that all who bear responsibility for conduct which affects compliance should be made accountable for failure to discharge that responsibility. All parties in the transport chain, not just the driver and operator, can be made accountable for these offences. The primary WHS law also requires a duty of care to provide any information, training, instruction or supervision that is necessary to protect all people from risks to their health and safety arising from work carried out.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Participation.
