Bus Driver Authority NSW (Classroom/Webinar Course)

This classroom/webinar course provides the knowledge relating to the Transport for NSW proficiency standards to be a bus driver in NSW. This knowledge, together with an aptitude to being a public passenger bus driver, is assessed by trainers who have been authorised by Into Training Australia.

Introduction:

In order to meet Transport for NSW requirements to obtain a NSW Drivers Authority you will have to:
  • Have held an unrestricted Australian driver’s licence for a total of at least 12 months in the 2 years immediately before the date of your application
  • Undertake a Criminal Record Check
  • Complete the Driver Authority training course with INTO Training Australia
  • Have a Medical Assessment Form - Public Passenger Vehicle Driver (from your doctor)
  • Provide a record of your past five years driving history if you have held a driver licence from another State or Territory within the last 5 years
  • Provide a photocopy of your current Australian driver’s licence
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with an Evidence of Training Certificate that must be lodged with Services NSW as part of the NSW Driver Authority Application.
