Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System- Skill Set (Generic) [MSMSS00018]

This Nationally recognised High Pressure Water Jetting Operator course, is designed for persons who operate high pressure water jetting equipment. Participants will develop their knowledge and skills to operate independently high pressure water jetting equipment in a safe manner and guide assistant operator/s within the water jetting team.

Introduction:

This course meets the requirements of the Australian/New Zealand Standards (AS/NZS) 4233 High Pressure Water Jetting Systems: Part 1 Safe Operations and Maintenance and Part 2 Construction and Performance. As stated within (AS/NZS 4233) - Safe operation and maintenance, 'Verification of competency or refresher training on high pressure water jetting operations shall be carried out and documented at appropriate intervals not exceeding two years to ensure the continued competency of operators'.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Nationally recognised Skill Set in: MSMSS00018 - Operate a high pressure water jetting system
  • MSMWJ304 Operate a high pressure water jetting system
  • MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
  • MSMWHS110 Follow emergency response procedures
  • MSMWHS200 Work safely
Entry Requirements:
The participant has High Pressure Water Jetting experience (over 6 months) that can be proven by either a Third Party Report or Statement on Company Letterhead signed off by management. The participant has completed the High Pressure Water Jetting Assistant course and logged a minimum of 120 hours of water jetting time.
