Licence to Transport Dangerous Goods by Road [TLILIC0001]

This Nationally recognised course covers the skills and knowledge required to obtain a Dangerous Goods driver’s licence to transport Dangerous Goods by road. It covers compliance with regulatory requirements but does not address all the skills and knowledge for the transportation of Dangerous Goods. On achieving this unit and obtaining a licence, further industry specific training will be required to satisfy legislative requirements to transport Dangerous Goods.

This non-accredited theory only course, will provide participants with an understanding of the principles for restraining loads, how to calculate loads, how much restraint is required and the safety considerations you need to take into account. This course will not qualify participants to restrain loads, transport them or calculate the requirements.

This Nationally recognised course is designed for all drivers (Heavy Vehicle and White fleet) to provide an understanding of Work Health & Safety laws, includes a general duty of care and this applies in road traffic when a vehicle is used for work-related purposes.

Certificate IV in Traffic Control Room Operations

This is a qualification for those engaged in in traffic operations job roles within the Transport and Logistics Industry.  It is aligned to defined roles including Tunnel Road Operator and Open Road Operator.

This qualification is supported by the industry association, Australian Tunnel Operations Group (ATOG). Currently, Into Training Australia is the only Registered Training Organisation approved to deliver this qualification.

 

Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport - Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction)

This is a qualification for those engaged in heavy vehicle driving instructor job roles within the Transport and Logistics Industry. Any person, who teaches, tests or assesses another person to drive or vary their driver licence and receives money or reward for teaching, testing or assessing, is required by law to hold a Driving Instructor's licence. In most States/Territories this qualification is required by the licensing regulators prior to an Instructor being approved to conduct heavy vehicle licence up-grades.
